Default Switched to fruit diet temporarily

Hi Folks,

My doctor ordered me to get off of LC diet since he wanted
to do analysis on a rash I've developed on my skin. Since the
rash persisted, he is attempting to isolate the problem fearing it maybe
a signal from inside organs. He said LCing can throw off
blood readings or may hide things.

Anyway, I decided to switch to fruits, vegetables, and whole grain diet
with lots of olive oil and olives to ensure the right fat is still in the
supply line.

I maintained working out as usual. After 4 weeks on the alternative diet,
I noticed that I didn't gain any weight. I'd expected to regain about 10 LB
of water. The opposite happened in fact, the weight loss accelerated a bit
upon switching.

Now the rash has been figured out and isolated to a simple hot tub bacteria
that my body got allergic to, I will remain on fruit diet until I stall.
I will
return to LCing then.

I found switching very refreshing. It made me appreciate fruits. I used
to hardly
eat fruits. I certainly am staying away from processed foods. No
trans-fat aka
partially hydrogenated oil, and no birthday cakes either.

I look forward to having a giant apple with a bowl of whole wheat cereal (No
oils).

Great thanks to the Atkins foundation, and special thanks to all of you
here that helped me drop about 33 LB altogether. I will join you again
soon.

John E.

Time for a new doc would be my advice!
