Default NYNY week 13 - Prairie Roots

My current weight: 167 lbs
Weight change since my last recorded weight: 2.8 lbs
Total weight change to date: -65 lbs

A funny thing happened this week. I decided to update my wardrobe
after realizing that I was down to only two pairs of pants that I
could decently wear to work and even those are now on the baggy side,
getting close to uncomfortable. Taking the advice and experience of
folks on this ng, I figured to buy pants a bit on the small side so
I'd be able to wear them longer. To make things easier for me, I
settled on one style in 3 different colors, size 12 petite.

When I got home, though, I saw that I'd actually bought 2 size 12s and
1 size 10. I don't recall trying on any 10s, so it must be that I
snagged that 10 while reaching for a 12. As I debated whether to go
back and exchange the 10 for a 12, I remembered again about buying
smaller. So I tried on the 10, just to see if I could figure out long
it might be before they fit. Lo and behold, they fit. More snugly in
the waist than the 12s, but better in the hips and thighs than the
12s. (Joyce, if you're out there, I think we have the same body type!
My waist ain't shrinking nearly as fast as my legs. LOL) I wore them
to work the next day (with a shirt covering the not-so-pretty parts of
me) and asked the advice of a friend who said the pants look fine now
and in two weeks they'll be perfect. So instead of exchanging the 10
for a 12, when I returned to the store, I exchanged my 12s for 10s.

Woohoo PR! Sure looks like you had a fantastic recovery from last week. Congrats
on the terrific loss, as well as the clothing NSV. Aren't those little surprises
wonderful? It does sound like we have the same ol' body styles, can we blame it
on our kids? G I'll bet if those pants were in the lower rise style the waist
band in the smaller size would have fit perfectly. Welcome to my world. LOL!
