I still have mixed feelings watching this Blaine guy on Fit TV. He'll

have
a marathon on Monday I think.

He has a personality of an armchair. Which is why it seems to sell.

Stella
does the same thing, although I can't stand him for whatever reason.

Blaine has grown on me personality wise, but it's that quick hit and
run editing that I hate. He breezes through very complex mixtures of things
too fast. Who wants to make a sauce that takes 15 ingredients, 3 pieces of
equipment and 4 hours?
Stella cooks very simple stuff, that is easy to follow and make at
home. Plus Stella sent me a personal email a few weeks ago, so now he's my
buddy! LOL

I think both LC and Loving It and Blaine's LC Kitchen are both
excellent shows. I don't know by what standard you think Blaine's
recipes are so complex; I find them easy to average in required
difficulty and ingredients. I've yet to see anything that takes
anywhere near 4 hours, unless you're counting the time something like a
roast is in the oven. And those recipes are few and far between. And
just because he uses something like a large kitchen mixer to whip cream
doesn't mean you can't just do it with a hand held one. As for the
rate he goes through things, I find it about right. All the recipes
are available online, so there's no need to sit there and try to write
it down.

I'm amazed that some people can find silly faults and complain about
anything. Personally, I'm very happy that guys like Blaine and Stella
are out there coming up with great recipe ideas and showing how LC is
about eating good, healthy foods, not just steak and fat.
