need some feedback on carb intercept phase 2 product at health food store.
This is my first post, and I've been watching and searching the forum
for a couple weeks. I want to thank everyone past and present for the great information I've got here. Here's my quick background. Started Atkins 1.7.2004 loyally. Was 228 lbs., currently 204 lbs. Saturday 1.24.2004 I was very tired and fatigued. I found out a couple days prior about yeast infections that may have caused my recent heartburn, etc. So I cut out cheeses and soy sauce (as well as hot wing sauce) and things have cleared up. Anyway, yesterday I was so tired and week I felt something was wrong. I decided to stop the diet (though it really upset me) until Monday when I could see the doctor or call atkins. I decided to take the opportunity to try the Carb Intercept versus just quitting Atkins. At dinner, I had 3 pieces of pizza, a brownie, and water after taking 2 of the capsules. I also had a couple potatoe chips and dip. I thought for sure this stuff was a joke. At night, before bed, my Keto Sticks still showed above 80 (the next to highest level, where I've been for almost 14 days). The next morning (this morning) I wieghed in 2 lbs lighter than the day before and still was at the same level of ketosis. Has anyone actually used this and had positive results? I am thinking every other week I might take my wife and I use the carb intercept. Personally, I like my low carb diet. Every once and a while it would be nice to go out and just eat a regular meal without counting everything. Any thoughts? |
