Gearing up for a big day -- and thanks to all for support!
Again, just a quickie I'm afraid. It will be a little while until I
have the time to reply to one and all, really indulging myself with nice long posts while reading through the messages here. Thanks to Lesanne, Irma, Elaine, Kristin, Brenda, Fred Nathalie, Tammie, Connie, Bird,Twinsmamma, Erin, Paper, Coleen, frood, Sonya, Julie B., and anyone else I may have forgotten (!) for your kind words. Sorry I can't reply individually right now. It's all I can do to squeeze out the time for one little post. Tonight will be our monthly Board Meeting at my Red Cross Chapter and this one should be quite a scene. We'll start with a tour of the nearby building that will be our new HQ (we move on October 4), and then back to the current facility for dinner and the meeting. Lots for me to organize and take care of -- I'll probably be at the chapter from 8:30 a.m. until 9 or 9:30 p.m. Then home and having to get moving with very pressing end-of-the-month office work at my other job (taking care of my husband's paperwork, etc.) *and* getting ready to have 10 at my house for Rosh Hashana dinner tomorrow night. Whew! But one thing I *am* in control of is my eating (oh, and my email too -- just hooked up a strong spam blocker and changed my address after a rash of virus infected mail started coming in -- though, fortunately, I had the good sense to recognize it and didn't open anything!). Feeling great about that! More when I can, until then, take care everyone and wish me luck getting through these next days. :-) Gail 180/160/145 |
