Default SBD frustration

Jarkat, you do not truly need charts and schmarts fr weight loss
purposes, although I am sure that they are helpful for a variety of
reasons.

I have found it helpful to get me started. I'm new to a lot of the equipment
and having the charts help keep me motivated. (Sometimes I feel like a kid
wanting a gold star on my chore chart lol) Anyway .. my thinking is .. if it
helps and doesn't hinder ... why not?

Let me simplify my question. Do you spend more than an hour a day
really exercising. (this could include walking).

no .. not yet .. but I'm increasing my time every day. I should be at an hour
by the end of next week. Some days I do put in an hr ... some days not. But
every day I have done what the trainer and I have worked out for me. (I get 3
free visits w/ the trainer ... after that I should know how to use the
equipment and what is best for my body.)

Yep, my thinking also. I have a 2 year old and I want to set a good
example for him.

You cannot get slim by throwing money at the problem. There is no
substitute for _time_ spent exercising.

LOL
I'm a tightwad ... I don't throw money anywhere

Default SBD frustration

Before going on any diet while breastfeeding, I would recommend speaking with
your doctor.

I am not going by the SBD on their daily menu basis. I just cannot live like
that...I have to cook for four people in my house and it would never work.
However, i am using it as a guide persay for what can and cannot work for me. I
am really trying to watch my sugars levels. Since Wednesday no bread, pasta,
rice or potatoe has passed through my lips. I have to admit...that I am not
feeling the lows that I have had in the past. I cannot be sure if this was the
reason...I'll stick with it a few more weeks to see. I cannot see any weight
change right now, but it's only been since Wed.

What is SBD? BRBR

This would be SBD.

To add to my original post. I've been using it as a guide about what I should
eat and avoid. The website and I am sure the book does the same thing breaks it
down for you. I take this with me when I go grocery shopping.

We had dinner out over the weekend. I had steak but the waiter was happy to
accomodate my request for veggies instead of potatoes or rice. However, the
plate raneth over with veggies, it was pretty funny. I was proud that I was
actually able to pass up my favorite bread, sourdough...sigh!! But it wasn't
as hard as I thought it would be.
