You live in West Texas, El Paso.

There used to be a lot of cheap West Texas acreage available. It's not
advertised in our local papers here.

Do you have any suggestions/advice if I was looking to invest in some?

Coyote hides and skulls do well on ebay. ;-)

I understand there are a lot of wild turkey and javalina out there, and
there are deer if you run a feeder?

We're in SW OK. One early morning during deer season, DH quietly made his
way to his tree stand and climbed into it so he would be ready for first
light. While he was sitting there he started to hear noises around him. As
it got light enough to see, he found he was surrounded by turkeys, waking up
and ready to start their day.
