Couple questions...
Hey again guys, I have a couple more questions for you all. First of
all, why are you allowed to eat meat liberally during induction yet you are limited in the vegetables that you can eat(the amounts of them, rather than the kinds)? What about artificial sweeteners? Are they alright to use? Today, I drank my coffee black with nothing in it, but I'm curious if I can start to use artificial sweeteners? Is there a way to tell if you are in Ketosis? How is it that to start you have to be under 20g of carbs for a couple of weeks? Will you be booted out if you have 21g? And if so, does that mean you have to start all over again? Are some soups OK? I don't see them on the Atkins acceptable foods page, but some have pretty low carb counts...Should I stick exactly with what's on that page? Thanks again for all your help. PS. Yes, I do have a book on the way! |
