Wild swings are for Tarzan, imo. When it comes to wild swings, I'm more
like George of the Jungle: Watch out for that tree! You seem to have
landed softly.

Tis the season to give unto Caesar...

Oops! I forget that not everyone shares my frame of reference or
worldview. My refenence to Caesar was in response to your nod towards
the Internal Revenue Service and Tax Day (U.S.) tomorrow. From the
Christian New Testament, Matthew 22:21 "Give unto Caesar that which
belongs to Caesar...." VERY off-topic. Sorry.

Let's hope we're all still counting points and receiving awards for
Staying and Succeeding at age 90, prostheses and all!

Congrats on the charm. An appropriate award for a charmer!

I recall that tree, too well. But originally I could not see the
forest because of that tree.

I did forget, I got another "Stay and Succeed" charm (Joyce, you want
a charm for that bracelet?)

But that led to a bit of humor..... I was asked about why I still
attend and mentioned something about "substituting one addiction
(meetings) for another (food)" and one of the regulars muttered
somewhat under her breath, that "we will probably all be here at age
90!"

That got me thinking and I guess the smirk on my face a few minutes
later (there were some intervening awards) led my leader to ask what I
was thinking? I replied: "Well, I heard the age 90 mutter and that
got me thinking, would we be able to get weight credit for the
artificial hips and knees!!!!!?????" Okay, it was funny then and
there as others laughed pretty well!

Yeah I know, and I appreciate it too. I am glad I am not averaging any more
the Monday after Easter (egg) Sunday was very very ugly here. Luckily it
dropped right off.

No, there's only one New Testament that I'm aware of. But since I'd made
the earlier mistake of not citing my source, I thought the redundancy
was appropriate. I can't recite scripture chapter & verse either, but
many references are rather easy to google, especially phrases and terms
that have slipped into secular culture, as I thought that the Caesar
reference had.

Yes, having one's mental faculties at 90 would also be excellent.

Oh, I got the "reverence" even being ir/unreverent myself. Not that I
could number any chapter and verse. Is 'Christian New Testament' kind
of redundant? Is there another NEW Testament? (G)

As long as most/many of the synapses are still working.

Congrats on the charm. An appropriate award for a charmer!
