Default anxiety and eating

Hi! My name is Natania Wright. I am a student in the Clinical
Psychology Ph.D. program at Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology. I
am doing an internet-based research study looking at how anxiety is
related to weight loss behaviors. You will be asked to answer
questions about your mood, social anxiety, body image, eating, and
exercise. It should take about 20 minutes to complete these
questions.

This survey is completely voluntary. If you are uncomfortable
answering a question, you may skip it. You will also be able to end
the survey at any time. Limit of one questionnaire per computer.

By being in this study, you will provide information about barriers to
weight loss behaviors. This information can be used to create better
weight loss programs. The information you provide will be used for
research purposes only.

At the end of the survey, you will have the chance to enter a raffle
to win a 50 dollar gift. Your name and email address will be collected
for the purpose of this raffle only. To protect your privacy, your
name will not be linked to the survey responses. A list of helpful
websites about weight loss and social anxiety will also be provided at
the end of the survey.

If you overweight and are interested in participating, please click on
the following link:

Thank you so much for your time and your input!!

Sincerely,

On the contrary, I can't eat when I'm anxious. But I'm not a porker.

Just read Gary Taubes' "Good Calories, Bad Calories." You may find that
anxiety does or does not stimulate the pancreas to release insulin. IMHO:
Obesity is not a psychological problem. It is physiological.

You are wasting your time.

Come to think of it, some anxious people are thin. Maybe adrenalin is
reducing body fat retention.

Default anxiety and eating

i know for sure that i always find myself pigging out when IM BORED,
not when im anxious, when im anxious or nervous its actually the
opposite for me. im glad i found a program where i got my weight
under control (now representing a great 6 pack haha) i made a blog
about the programs ive used to help others he http://superrippedabs.blogspot.com/.
But anyway, yah bordom was my downfall with eating....when there was
nothing to do i would pig out non stop...which happened a lot.
