That sounds pretty sad if it literally means an association to push the
acceptance of people being very overweight.

NAAFA actually promotes morbid obesity and feederism. NAAFA's chairman,
Conrad Blickenstorfer, runs a web site called Dimensions Magazine. This
web site's most popular message board is called "The Weight Board". See it
for yourself at
http://www.dimensionsmagazine.com/we...bbbs_config.pl . "The
Dimensions Weight Room" at http://www.dimensionsmagazine.com/Weight_Room/
is further proof Conrad Blickenstorfer promotes feederism and morbid
obesity.

NAAFA refuses to take a position against feederism:

Sandie Sabo, who is on NAAFA's board and their official spokesperson says,
" NAAFA doesn't have a "policy" on feeders".

Maryanne Bodolay, also of NAAFA's board, also confirm's NAAFA's blind
acceptance of feederism. "NAAFA does not have an official policy "

NAAFA's lack of policy on feederism is due to the fact that their chairman
actually promotes it. A policy condemning feederism would have to take
place after Conrad Blickenstorfer is removed from the board at a very high
cost to NAAFA's already dwindling membership. Most members of NAAFA are
into feederism.

There might be a change under way that's going to split NAAFA's ranks.
