Oh, crap! And I just bought a big bag of Splenda to make cheesecake for
Easter Sunday...

It's hard to sift through all of the info and to really know what's true and
what's shinola. There was a reference to saccharin ("...I feel saccharin is
the only artificial sweetener with true merit") in one of the articles on
the site. Some thirty odd years ago, science concluded that saccharin was
carcinogenic. So, who to believe?

here's an interesting article from someone who actually likes Mercola's
info, but still thinks the Splenda thing is silly:

Mercola is notorious for being "against" EVERYTHING. I treat any info or
reference from their site as appropriate for the circular filing cabinet
(trash can).

It's all chenmical crap. Of course it's not good for us. No different than
aspartame if you ask me. In a few years after Splenda is around a while
we'll hear about all the dangers of it. To be honest I'm surprised at alot
of the purists here who put down all the low carb crap yet eat surcralose.
It's beyond me.

So, who to believe?

Mercola seems to have a personal vendetta against Splenda. I can't find anyone
else bashing it.

I have been having such a difficult time on my walk of late because I
keep tripping over the bodies of those killed by splenda, and those
****in' cripples from its use are such a pain!
Quack........ Quack............ Quack.........

Sleepy
