Maybe you should listen to your 5-year old.

And that applies to this discussion, how exactly? Oh, I see - his
preschool rebelliousness as an example of how adults act in an anonymous
newsgroup? O-kay. That's relevant.

Says who? That post resulted from prior conversation in this public

forum.
Perhaps you should quit trying to be some kind of newsgroup cop.

Oh please -- everyone here posts their own opinions constantly, on topic and
off topic. I post about something being crap once and get accused of being
a 'newsgroup cop'. insert eyerolling emoticon HERE

The hypocrisy amuses me. I posted what I felt, as does everyone else.
You don't like it, tough. Killfile me. Like I care.

announced in front of God and everybody:

If it was For Damsel, it should be sent To Damsel or labelled OT in a
newsgroup ostensibly for the support of low carb diets.

Well, the subject heading is "For Damsel." That might have been a
tip-off.

Y'know, I hate that sort of sappy affirmation crap, too ... but when I
click on a post subject-titled "For (not my name)" and then spy the
first few lines of greeting-card gooiness, I just move on to something
else figuring that, obviously, that post wasn't aimed at me.

But then, I'm funny that way.

What a moron...you brought it up, I simply responded, nitwit...however, it
sounds like you'd be better off to listen to your 5 year old...

Then what was your point? Obviously you don't see how that post was a form
of support, but you're dim so that what we can expect from you.

Why would I killfile you? Better for me to see your crap so I can amuse
myself.

Sunshyne, I'll respond to your post when we get home from running errands

Carol, you are welcome. The part of you wishing you were never born, it got to
me. You were born for a reason. I don't stay angry too long.

Sometimes, I just feel so trapped by my own brain, ya know? And I don't
hold grudges either. I'm glad we came out of all this okay.

Consider it a peace offering. In ways not sure what caused me to send it to
you. In ways I get the feeling.. Its that I know you are hurting. Its the only
way I know how to reach out. In love.

That's generally how I am with the proper medications. I generally think
of myself as a good person. I had just been taken off my mood stabilizer
abruptly, and had a horrible manic episode because of it. You may or may
not know that one of the hallmarks of bi-polar disorder is paranoia.
Should be easy to draw conclusions from there.

If you look at my history over the past year, you'll find that I also
freaked out when taken off of Celexa abruptly, and the same with Strattera.
My eating binge was actually much worse after only a month on Strattera
than this time. I'm glad I have enough sense to start taking the meds
again when I find my world spinning out of control. Problem is, it's
usually a few days before I figure out that I'm temporarily insane.

If I hurt your feelings in any way the last several days. I am sorry.

Same here. We both said some hurtful things, but that's because *we* were
hurting at the time.

I got a bad sense of hopelessness when I read what a couple people were
saying, and I didn't even read "that thread" until last night, when I was
feeling strong enough to deal with it.

I know you didn't say this, but I'd like to address it, anyway. If a
killfile is a crutch, I'll gladly use it if I need to. My glasses are a
crutch, too. The vast majority of my KFs are for certain threads that I'm
not interested in, or certain words that I don't care about, like beer,
vodka, bars, etc.

KFs of individuals are few and far between. Someone has to be pretty
heinous to wind up there on a permanent basis. Sometimes, I just need to
protect myself from something that's upsetting to me at the time.

Thanks for writing,
Carol

This is a non-moderated group. If you don't like what you see, go

elsewhere to
a moderated one.

All sorts of non low carb issues has been posted here of late. This is the
first you spoke up?

I never have posted a OT before. Is that how it works? Or is it just your
rules? Please tell me, so I can learn some more.

It did say For Damsel.

Ignore her, Sunshyne-obviously someone ****ed in her flaxmeal this AM

ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I'd be a little cranky if someone did that to me, too. I guess we
should be showing more compassion. Maybe someone can write a nice poem.

I forgot to mention earlier ... I'm in negotiations with my insurance
company to get coverage for therapy for eating disorder. It seems there is
exactly one person in southern Minnesota who specializes in this area. I'm
waiting for a return call from someone at the insurance company who has
authority to say yes or no.

I'll keep y'all posted.

Now, Carol, I think BrightStar has made it abundantly clear that compassion
is OFF topic here-so NO compassion, darn it!GGGG
