Default OT Good reading

For you avid readers, I just finished "Big Russ and Me" by
Tim Russert. Great book with lots of gems and some humor.
What have you read lately that you would recommend?

I am currently re-reading the Vorkosigan series as I have just
discovered that a brother-in-law is related to the great one. Heart
palps and visions of being a beta reader flashed before me for a few
minutes. He had no clue of course.

Lois McMaster Bujold, and yes *I* think she's fantastic, and "The
Mountains of Mouring" is still available for free from Baen's Free
Library. A great intro to the universe.

Cat's Eye - Margaret Atwood
Jane Eyre - Charlotte Bronte
Hubby and I are reading "Lord of the Rings" by some dude named Tolkien
;-)

Light mindless reading for the bus - some chick-lit book I can't
remember the title of...

I've always got 4-5 on the go.

Right now, I'm reading "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn." Really a nice, classic
book, set in turn o' the century New York.

My favorite series, by far, is the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. It's
an historical fiction with elements of fantasy (time travel).

I just reread the Gateway series by Frederik Pohl. Don't know if you're at
all into science fiction, but he's my favorite writer at the moment.
