As I told Chris, the crap is in the house because of my BIL.

Yes, that makes sense. Certainly more sense than you buying it for
yourself!

I'm finding that
when I crave sweets it's usually a pie or cake or premium ice cream. None
of which is in the house.

We have premium ice cream. I have pyrex pudding cups that we use for
ice cream, i.e., 1/2 cup servings and I stick to it. That's two small
scoops. I buy flavors I don't like for the children, and "Forbidden
Chocolate" for myself. I tell the kids "it's forbidden" to them. Mine.
All Mine! I'm not a binger so it's okay with me to have. When I
crave ice cream I just have ice cream in place of whatever other snack I
would have had then.

As far as hormonal. I wouldn't think so but anything and everything is
possible. I'm only 30 and periods and things (aside from a few growing
cramps) are as normal. What I do find now with the weight loss is that my
back has suddenly started being sensitive and I get the hip pain similar
with sciatica every now and then. It almost makes me think being fat was
better.

Well, being fat was "being" and being not-fat is "being" and I think it
all ends up having its own issues. I paid a lot of attention to facing
the down parts of losing fat right in the eye and I missed some of them,
but I really don't prefer being fat. I just think it's wrong to pretend
that losing the fat cures all problems.

Dally

yes, I agree. I was just being cheeky. Being fat is not worth anything in
my opinion. It's actually interesting to realize that bones I could only
ever imagine I had actually are THERE!!
