Maggie You are welcome here, but we hate cyclists :-) Matthew (fellow cyclist and occasional lurker at rbm) I have nothing to contribute to rbm. I am just a pain in the ass. I really need help with dieting though. I really do. C'mon let me in with a great big welcome. I ride a bike, I am hardly a cyclist. I ride a bike. I need to get my fat body in shape for summer. I need to lose 20 lbs by next week. ;-) BENVENUTO! Grazie il mio amico!!! I certainly know alot about dieting. I have been doing it for ALOT of years. I've been up, down, over and out...and I know one thing. DIETING IS NOT EASY. All Good Things Maggie You'll find many in the group who have been very successful in losing and maintaining a weight loss. One of the main reasons is they know it's not a diet but a change in lifestyle. They're referred to as WOE (way of eating) and WOL (way of life). I know from the other group you've added exercise recently but what have you changed in your diet? Beverly 177/142/~140 |

Maggie wrote: Hi Beverly, Wow, a familiar poster. I think I will have more to contribute in the dieting arena. I've been on every diet invented. I guess dieting and riding a bike are two things that DO overlap. I'm biking to lose weight and exercise. I have a tendency of annoying the avid cyclists. As you know. ;-) Many are supportive, but I know I annoy many. I hope I don't become annoying in here. I can actually stay OT in a dieting newsgroup. I live my life dieting. All good things, Maggie I always enjoyed your posts. You really livened up the place. Those fellows can be too serious about their biking and need to "take a chill pill" as my granddaughters would say. I think they forget that some of us ride just because we enjoy it. Beverly |
