Among other things, 1000g of carbs a day would be 4000 calories, and I seriously doubt that this person would lose weight on that diet. Chris |

Chris Well I have no idea if this person lost weight dumping refined sugar but I have heard of it. Actually when I was diagnosed w/ Candida my Doc simply eliminated the foods from my diet that caused my Candida to thrive. W/o getting rid of carbs all together (I ate a lot of rice A LOT about 3 - 4 servings a day) I dropped 20lbs in 2 1/2 mo. Simply deleting all yeast & products w/ vinegar (among other items). Most diabetics cant have refined sugar & when they eliminate it from their diet they drop weight suddenly. Any dramatic change to your diet can cause you to lose weight. You can have 1000 carbs a day & still lose weight. Esp if you are exercising. So I am apt to believe it.. |

That's fantastic that you've lost all that weight. I think sugar
(particularly refined sugar) is a major problem for most people. I gave it up over a year ago now and have really notice the all round health benefits, I've been doing other healthy things but I notice that if I do on occasion start eating sugar, my health starts rapidly going down hill. I assume you've written this post because your excited about your results and want to share what you've learnt with others, is that right? I am curious to know what you make up your 1Kg or carbs with, you will likely see even more benefit from eating only complex carb wholefoods if you don't already. White bread, white rice, white pastries etc. are almost as bad as refined sugar in my opinion. A 1000g's does sound like a lot, can you detail a typical days food for us to help me get a clear picture of what you're eating? Also if you don't mind sharing, what's your current weight and height? (and body fat% if you have that). I find it better to get most my calories from healthy fats and oils (poly/monounsaturated fats), I vary my protein and carb calories according to how much (and what type of) exercise I'm doing. Nick. "Ignoramus7090" wrote Are you a diabetic or pre-diabetic (with your candida)? If so, then you need to take control of your blood sugar. Giving up table sugar may not be enough, although it would be a good idea. I have not yet been diagnosed w/ diabetes HOWEVER as every family member has been diagnosed by their 50'th birthday I know that if I don't get things in check soon, its only a matter of a few more doctors visits before its my turn so that is my primary goal this year. To drop about 50 lbs & get on a healthy nutritional & exercise pattern |
