That's a rip-off.

You need diet software. You need to see if you have diabetes. You need to
exercise. You need to follow portion control. You need to change habits.

It's that difficult.

I'm fighting four battles. Bad cholesterol, high blood pressure, gout and
now diabetes. I began my last diet on May 28, 2007 (247 lbs.) and yesterday
(1-15-2008) I weighed 218. Try Building a menu with those conditions!

No Valerie ad is going to make you lose weight. They're in the business of
making money. They don't care if you lose an ounce.

My exercise is the NordicTrack Pro ski machine (with the arm pulley
exercise). Moved one La-Z-Boy out from in front of the TV to make room.
Nordic was sold to some other company, but no matter in the winter, I don't
pay gym fees and can exercise in my own home.

Diet is not successful without exercise. Many here know of what I speak.

Drop sugar sodas. Hell, drop diet sodas. Lemon or lime up some water. Lots
of water.

Read processed food ingredients. If it doesn't sound natural it's not
healthy. Preservatives, food colors. If it contains "partially" forget it!
"Natural flavor" on the nutrition label is MSG. Look at nutrition labels.
Portion control!!! Do the math.

Get yourself a food scale and follow servings by grams not cups, except for
liquids.

Get a digital pedometer. I use one of the Omron ones that comes with
windows software so I can see how much of a couch potato I am on an hourly
basis, at the end of a day.

Another simple thing, while on the cell or cordless phone, march in place
or walk around. That's exercise.

Don't spend an hour without five minutes of exercise. Wall puss-ups, etc.

Or pay Jenny Craig to look at a camera lens'd reduced Valerie Bertinelli.

Nutri-system, Jenny Craig, Weight watchers, bull****.

Get dietpower software, a pedometer and follow portion control and
exercise.

No simpler way to see your progress and lose weight.

You can diet in such a way that your body conserves fat by crash dieting.

Learn about fats. Learn about carbs and sugars. Dieting is homework, not a
magic bullet.

And that, as they say in this biz is in my humble opinion.

Good luck.
