So why didn't you just cut the fruit from your Paleo and eat more veggies?

Basically that is what I am doing now minus the nuts and the fruit.

You really got fat from eating too much fruit?

You sure that's what it was?

Anyone ever heard of/used this diet?

I have heard of this diet and I have used the version called Neanderthin
which was written by Ray Audette.
It is a very good plan but I ate too much fruit and regained some weight I
had lost
so now I am on Atkins KISS-style.

When I ate too much fruit there were times when I ended up binging and
I am sure the fruit and the binges caused the regain.
I have PCOS and insulin resistance and I am certain that also played a part
in it.
I gain weight *very* easily.

Okay, so you are doing Paleo....fruit is allowed, but you don't HAVE to eat
it. Also, the fruits lower in carbs might be better in your case.

I realize that Roger. :-)

Perhaps but I prefer not to take the chance and then have to deal with the
binge cravings. It is just *easier* to leave it out right now until I get
to a point where I need to start thinking about maintenance and that is a
long way off at this stage.
