Sleeping disorder
I have a lot of troubles getting to sleep. Some days I would just be
awake and not be able to go to sleep until 2AM, then go out of bed and watch tv or something and try to go to sleep again in an hour or so... I've also had a night with absolutely no need to sleep, I frankly couldn't go to sleep no matter what I tried. The next day was of course disaster (I felt like a mop), and I went to bed the moment I've come home. That day I slept from 8PM till midnight, and then again couldn't go to sleep whole night... Did anyone else had similar experiences while starting induction? How did you resolved it? -- B-D_ Atkins since 11/24/03 199/189/165 |

Remember, your body is going through a major change right now, and when things stabilize, you should see your sleep schedule return to normal. I did notice that I don't need as much sleep on low carb. This is probably because I no longer get the "carb sleepys" that I used to before I started. Just give it a little time. You may also want to add some exercise to your daily routine. Chris |
