Theraband Exercise
"Julianne" I met a client yesterday morning in her office before leaving town. In her local office, she has an outpatient rehab center (JayJay - if you were a little closer, I could have gotten you a great deal on therapy!). Anyway, she was late and I was playing around in the clinic and found some theraband resistant exercise bands. I cannot tell you how much fun I had. They are certainly no substitute for weights, etc. but I am thinking that when I go to the camp, etc. where exercise equipment is scarce, they will provide hours of endless entertainment. I cut off about a six foot piece of several of the heavier bands. It is too much fun although my client was a tad annoyed that I chose to exercise my biceps and triceps on the 2 hour ride to her other office. I didn't care. It is not often I am able to exercise on someone else's time! They were probably jealous that they had to drive and not work out like you!! That is pretty cool, though. j |

Micheal Thurmond's Six Week Body Makeover comes with these things. If you like to watch infomercials you'll recognize the name as a body buidler guy who drives around in a classic Corvette and sells a weight loss system. My wife bought it to try it out and I tried to follow it with her for a while, but it was just a low fat system that made me constantly craving greasy foods so I didn't last just like previous attempts at low fat I've tried. So how do you use them? His program has you loop the bands around a door knob for resistance and that's inconvenient. |
