Nah, was just too cheap to replace the dodgy battery ... the new one showed
up a problem with the alternator, which had to be reconditioned.

I can say from personal experience that it's physically impossible to
crash-start a diesel engine ...

But, I can also run a wire harness, diagnose a balky vcr, or sound
board, read a volt meter, ohm meter, and ammeter, solder, and build a
pc board like nobody's business. I've built my own computers too.
And I have a ham licence. :-)
