One pound per week is a good goal for most.

You're bmr can be roughly determined by multiplying current weight by 12, or around 1700 calories. If you want to lose 2 lbs per week, you need a 7000 calorie deficit, as a pound of fat is roughly 3500 calories. This equates to a 1000 calorie per day deficit. Can you achieve that? You'd need to eat around 1200 calories and exercise to burn about 500 calories, every single day. |

That makes a lot of difference. As I remember, you have had some difficulty with eating disorders. I am wondering whether you really need to lose weight, or if you're in pretty good shape and want to lose weight anyway. -- |
