Default Chinese buffet pig out

Confession is good for the soul, they say.

I totally pigged yesterday at a Chinese buffet. I have no reason,
excuse, or even explanation as to WHY....I was there, it was there, and
I pigged.

By "pigging" I dont mean I filled my plate 14 times, LOL---I mean, on
the one plate I did fill, there was fried rice, crab Rangoon, an egg
roll...oh, and let's not forget the wonton soup.

It wasnt the amount---it was the CARBS.

That would have been bad, but not that bad. The thing was, AFTER this
debauchery, I came home and drank a quart of wine (havent had wine for,
oh, dunno, a month or more?) smoked some doobie, (also after a month or
more of none) got the munchies and did in several handfuls of chocolate
chips, a bowl of cereal, two Tbs. of peanut butter, four slices of
sandwich ham smeared with creamcheese......

It was a gastric orgy.

Im physically sick, today---carb AND alcohol hangover.

Im just reporting the events. I did what I did.

I can say this---the Chinese buffet pig out was actually worth it. In
real life and the Great Scheme of Things, having wonton soup, fried rice
and an eggroll aint a hanging offense.

But, those carbs cried out for MORE and I answered the call. It was one
of those, "Well, since Ive gone to hell, anyway, might as well go all
the way", kinda things.

The scale this morning said Id gained three pounds. I know this is not
indicative of a gain of three pounds of actual fat, but it does get my
attention. A pig out costs in time wasted. Not only did it stop my
weight loss, it stopped my ketosis and it will take several days to get
the scale back to where it was....

Well, that's my story.

1) Lay off the doobies...that'll get you big-time fat.
2) don't eat anything tomorrow and take a good long walk...you'll be back in
ketosis by the next day!

You really went shockingly overboard. But I approve of the doobies.
Cannabis *is* low carb.

It might be low carb, but it definitely helps you get fat.

You can do doobies, but you must then eat cheese.

Exactly. There is absolutely no rule that says when you get stoned
you have to eat carbohydrates. Or eat at all, for that matter.

Could be true. I wonder what the carb content of a "serving" of good
doobage is.

Perhaps for some. Maybe it sounds strange, but I've personally known
more than a few folks who when they get stoned, will go excercise
instead. One guy who used to post on talk.politics.drugs (Brian N.
Miller... look him up) would eat cannabis-butter and run
ultra-marathons (over 50 miles at a time). Another guy I used to know
would smoke and then lift weights. Truth is stranger than fiction
sometimes.

Alcohol can easily and directly get people fat. Cannabis merely
provides an indirect excuse.

2) don't eat anything tomorrow and take a good long walk...you'll be back in
ketosis by the next day!
