Default For me the party's over -- at least for 100 Days*

For me the party's over, at least for 100 days (other than perhaps
about 5 days in September when our oldest child is going to get
married -- but I'll be far better in those days than I usually am).

Food is put away, beer cans emptied, graphs made to mark my weight
tomorrow morning.

Exercise shoes laid out. And ten pound ankle weights for each ankle
and 8 pounds in each hand to complete a 38 minute walking course. Less
impact by far than running.

Time to be "good enough for long enough" to make a positive impact on
my health.

If you'd like to join along that would be great!

Somehow for me (and most people) deadlines are useful motivators --
with reunions, weddings, etc., being common times to reach our best.

For me hunger is knowing I can ingest something that is at least
momentarily fun to eat or drink. But for the next 100 Days the party
is over! and I will be far healthier when Thanksgiving comes.

Nothing complicated -- although some will make it so. Just few enough
calories in for a long enough and you will be healthier. There should
be no major faintness if you miss a meal. (At least for most people on
most days. I have had hypoglycemic attacks doing quite arduous
exercise without enough sugar in the system -- if you find yourself
suddenly weak and with vision problems, ask yourself whether it might
be because you have exercised without enough carbohydrate calories.)
Check with your health provider if you're unsure, and join us a day or
two later.

Have a great night! Tomorrow we diet!

Yours,

Caleb
