I know that. No matter how often and how heavy a woman lifts, her body
chemistry does not allow the muscle gain.

Lori, just For Your Information, it is impossible to gain muscle
quickly, especially for females. An ounce a day is the most that the
most genetically gifted men can accompish.

Sculpt means to
shape and tone you idiot.

your muscles either grow bigger, stay same, or they get smaller.

Shape and tone are deceiving words that mean, more or less, nothing.

Muscles become more visible when either they get bigger, or, the layer
of fat covering them gets smaller.

You can lift as much weight as you want and tone the muscle mass
underneath the fat, but if you don't do the proper amount of cardio
exercise and watch food intake with the toning, you will never see
the muscle definition under the fat. I was just trying to help Luna
with her problem. I will never offer my help to anyone else on this
board. Some support system you are.

You see, you made a number of incorrect statements and that was
properly pointed out.

I suggest if you don't know what you are speaking of, to just shut up!

Good point Saffire. I have posted a couple of times and it seems I get
attack when I am just trying to offer some help. I guess its not what is
said, but the way it is said. This board seems to have more attacks then
the other boards I read. Just seems kind of nasty here.

Why would you base a decision not to help ANYONE based on a response from

the
residential troll in the group? That's like saying you'll never speak to

your
friends again because their mailman is an asshole.

Frustration "boil over"?

Having lurked awhile, I began to think that I may *never* post because
of the many derisory comments here. When I began to look harder, I was
amazed at the volume of posts here and realised that "negative" posts,
(a feature on many ng), were only *slightly* disproportionate than some
ng's I have watched and *less* than many.

When you consider that many here are depriving themselves of what has
possibly been a big "comforter" in their lives, and that others may be
dissapointed because they have not reached the goals they set
themselves, then it is not surprising that the group can get a bit
"niggly". The "niggling" that comes from those who appear (from their
posts) to be comfortable with their acheivements, is what puzzles me?
Perhaps they really *aren't* comfortable?

You need to learn how to use kill filters. I don't know if Outlook
Express 6.0 has filters for usenet, but it often is just a matter of
sleceting a message from the offending party, finding the ADD FILTER
(possibly a right-click or in a menu) and setting a filter to
DELETE[Kill} all posts from that author. Suddenly the few obnoxious
ones cease to exist except for being quoted by others.

It is worth finding the feature or switching to a software package
that support it if you do a lot of newsgroups.

There are plenty of trolls and idiots in the world. They will
overwhelm you if given the opportunity.

I was reading a magazine in a docs office last week, and read this article. It
was about 4 women, all the same weight, 140 pounds. They all carried their
weight differently. I think that goes the same way then too, with how each
person builds muslce mass? Can't remember the name of the magazine now. One had
more muscles in her legs. I have muscle definition in my legs, and when I lose
the fat, the definition will be even more noticeable. The arms... hardly no
muscle definition at all.

I don't think so. Wouldn't that be "carving"? "Sculpting" is done with a
hammer and chisel, and would probably require rock-hard muscle. Whaddya
say, JC?

I've never done any sculpting or carving, but I believe you may be correct.
