Oh, you heard the resistance, did you!? (G) No spring in the step.

A year has made an incredible difference. Someone yesterday said they
were no longer asked when they were due (baby) - and I would ask
myself that very question - that's where I carried much of the
noticeable weight.

Yesterday, I purchased JCPenney pocket t-shirts (altho, they will not
have much use in today's 36F weather) and I am thinking of trying on
the small's as the medium even look a bit largeish. But I probably am
a medium - cotton shrinks. Now to find some Jockey Turtlenecks in a
smaller size - I got those out of the storage drawer yesterday.

The trampoline didn't bounce as far this week, but it did "give" a

Major congratulations on your WW anniversary. What a difference a year
makes! Your overall stats aren't bland in the least.

In addition to the bland stats, I will also announce that I joined WW
exactly ONE YEAR AGO TODAY. I joined on Oct 29th, 2002. So it is my
WW BIRTHDAY! (G)

Okay, now the numbers.....

Down: 0.4 lbs
Current Weight: 161.2

So I did not drop the entire 2.2 I gained last week. Not bad given
two servings of Costco's Chocolate cake and Chocolate Lasagna. But I
do need to get really back on track. I do not think I have the
appropriately safe clothing cushion.

oh yeah, Happy Birthday. I got a 2 year birthday coming Feb the 17, I
guess. I was slower than you.

Yeah, until yesterday I had kind of surpressed that memory. (G)

I am thinking of dragging a piece out of the freezer on a hike this
weekend. It is suppose to be nice but there is anywhere from 1 to
about 5 inches of snow UP THERE! So I would honestly earn a piece of
cake for a hike that would "not be a piece of cake!"

The chill is here - 36F out on my front porch this morning.

It wasn't hearing the resistance so much as imagining it. Personally, I
don't trampolines so much any more. For some reason when I jump up and
down too much (e.g. jumping rope), I get earaches.

I suggest you at least try on the small shirt. You might surprise
yourself! Last month I bought some new turtlenecks and grabbed the
misses X-Large, assuming that's what I'd wear, thankful to be out of the
Plus sizes. When I got them home, I realized those new shirts were
largish. (I hate trying clothes on.) Over the weekend, I went back for
more shirts and decided to stay in the store long enough to try on at
least one shirt. Sure enough, the Large fit much better. So I've gone
from 2X to L. I look and feel so much better when I wear clothes that
fit. Still, the mental adjustment really does take some effort.

Slower? You had a lot further to go and did it. You still remain a
terrific example.

Dressed too much today to hit Penney's and take off sports coat and
tie and shirt. I will do it another day. But the new hiking shorts
arrived today and they fit much better - my hiking friend will be
pleased. She threatened to burn my old ones (G)

Nice to hear your turtlenecks needed a smaller shell. Clothes
shopping is not my thing. Computers and camping gear - yes.
