I gained .6 for a total weight of 159. I tried the core plan this week.

I
am not comfortable journaling and I have kept some notes. I am going to
recreate a journal to see what happened. I only managed to have the

"good"
fat one day this week which may be part of the problem. I am going to

go
for another week because I think I need to know if this is a plan I can

use
while traveling. It was a great deal less stress eating out and

traveling
on this plan. I feel good and hope all of you do also.

I did have some major stress this week and I think this might have been

a
contributor to me not eating very much. I took a trip on Saturday to

STL,
2
hours each way to meet my parents for lunch. Then on Monday we went

again,
stayed overnight and came back late on Tuesday. This meant a bunch of
eating other people's food. I always retain water when I am in the car

for
extended periods of time. Then this morning I took my cat, Miss

Violette
to
the vet to have a growth removed. I had her teeth cleaned at the same

time
to avoid having to anesthetize her a second time should it be needed.

The
vet had originally said that it should be done in the future but when

this
came up we did both now. The good news is that she came through the

surgery
fine. Other good news is that the vet found an abscessed place in her

gum.
It had nothing to do with her teeth but could have made her very ill if

it
had not been found. The bad news. The growth we thought was just an
annoying cyst might be cancer. The vet said it didn't look good at all

so
it went to the pathologist. Sorry for going on but this cat is very

special
to me.

again, I am not happy about losing but I am still fine in my head and

heart
because I know that devoting three or four weeks to the core plan will

let
me learn about me, and the worst that happens is that I gain and go back

to
flex points. best of luck to you all this week, Lee

she is normally extremely quiet but she is locked in our small bathroom and
is telling the world how horrid we are. She was a feral cat that adopted us
so is very sensitive to loud noises, strangers, and anything that
constitutes a change. To relate this to weight, I am getting points pacing
to listen to her and I am passing by the fridge but am not interested in it,

she is important because she convinced DH cats could be a good thing. I
said to him after we got home, at least I think I have seen the last of the
160s and that is a real blessing.

sorry for your cat and for you.

At least you're still in the one-fives. Those little gains are a pain
in the butt, but you've got a good understanding of the reasons why.
The last 10+ pounds sure go slowly.

thanks for the hugs. She at least still has her "tude" DH went to check on
her and we ended up running through the house and it was like a bad movie.
If she had gotten under the head board we would have all been a mess. DH
wrenched his back this morning so I would have had to move the head board to
get her and it is too long to do easily. He ended up hurting his back again
and I almost panicked. She is now quiet as I think she tired herself out
running. The NSV is that DH trapped her at the end of the hall but couldn't
reach over to get her. He did get down on his knees to block her path and
as I scooted by him he said, good thing you lost, you couldn't have done
that 90 pounds ago and the cat would have been home free, Lee who keeps
telling herself this too shall be lost

So sorry to hear about your beloved cat. They are definitely part of the
family so it is upsetting when they get sick. Hopefully yours will get
better real soon.

Don't worry about the tiny gain. You'll do better next week. Just keep

doing
the program and it will come off. Or at least that's what I keep telling
myself. Hugs to you.

I'm sorry to hear about your kitty Lee. We have 3 cats (none of them related
to each other) and they are all so different. I do have a favourite, our
youngest. She's a 2 yo torti and has the loveliest nature. I would be
devasted if anything happened to her.

week.
I
am not comfortable journaling and I have kept some notes. I am

going
to
recreate a journal to see what happened. I only managed to have

the
"good"
fat one day this week which may be part of the problem. I am

going
to
go
for another week because I think I need to know if this is a

plan
I
can
use
while traveling. It was a great deal less stress eating out and
traveling
on this plan. I feel good and hope all of you do also.

I did have some major stress this week and I think this might

have
been
a
contributor to me not eating very much. I took a trip on

Saturday
to
STL,
2
hours each way to meet my parents for lunch. Then on Monday we

went
again,
stayed overnight and came back late on Tuesday. This meant a

bunch
of
eating other people's food. I always retain water when I am in

the
car
for
extended periods of time. Then this morning I took my cat, Miss
Violette
to
the vet to have a growth removed. I had her teeth cleaned at

the
same
time
to avoid having to anesthetize her a second time should it be

needed.
The
vet had originally said that it should be done in the future but

when
this
came up we did both now. The good news is that she came through

the
surgery
fine. Other good news is that the vet found an abscessed place

in
her
gum.
It had nothing to do with her teeth but could have made her very

ill
if
it
had not been found. The bad news. The growth we thought was

just
an
annoying cyst might be cancer. The vet said it didn't look good

at
all
so
it went to the pathologist. Sorry for going on but this cat is

very
special
to me.

again, I am not happy about losing but I am still fine in my

head
and
heart
because I know that devoting three or four weeks to the core

plan
will
let
me learn about me, and the worst that happens is that I gain and

go
back
to
flex points. best of luck to you all this week, Lee
