Liquid Splenda
Here is the reply from my inquiry on Liquid or Tablet form of Splenda.
Bummer! No plans to market either in the US. I think they are underestimating the market, especially considering how fast LC'ing is growing. I saw an article that said that Low Carb was the largest news item in the media in 2003 in the health area! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------- Thank you for visiting the SPLENDA (R) No Calorie Sweetener website. We hope you became more familiar with SPLENDA (R) No Calorie Sweetener during your visit to the site. Although we do not have any plans at this time to extend our product line to include a liquid or tablet version of SPLENDA (R) No Calorie Sweetener, we are always exploring potential line extensions. We are aware of the low-carb consumer base that is interested in having a liquid and tablet version of SPLENDA (R) No Calorie Sweetener available in the United States and as we plan for the future we will take this into consideration. We value hearing from our consumers. Please feel free to call us with any additional comments or questions on our toll-free number 1-800-7-SPLENDA (1-800-777-5363), Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Eastern Time. You may also access our website at www.splenda.com for answers to frequently asked questions, recipes, cooking and baking tips, and on-line ordering. SPLENDA Consumer Relationship Center |

Liquid Splenda -tablets
Someone is selling Splenda tablets on eBay. The seller imported them from
Australia. I won some. $9.98 starting bid plus shipping and insurance came to: $13.03 for 200 tablets |

That's rather expensive. Here in New Zealand, we buy them for about
$6.50NZ, so about $4US. Even allowing for the postage from Australia, someone's making a bit of money. Tara "Cubit" wrote in message . .. Someone is selling Splenda tablets on eBay. Try real, carb-free, calorie free, liquid sweetener (equivalent of liquid Spenda) from Nature's Flavors: http://www.naturesflavors.com/produc...oducts_id=3740 or from Lowcarber, if you'd like to pay more for less!: http://www.locarber.com/store/index.php?&prodID=zcs-001 |

Liquid Splenda
Yes, I bought the liquid from NaturesFlavors, and love it. It works well,
seems smoother tasting, less chemical. Has anyone had experience with both - Liquid Splenda as it was originally marketed a few years back, and also with the Sweet Base or whatever they call it? I'm curious if the concentration is roughly the same. The reason I ask is that I know the Sweet Base is still primarily water and I'm wondering if a Liquid Splenda would be even more concentrated? I have the liquid from Low Carber. 2 teaspoons equals 1 1/3 cups of suger.
ow does the Natures Flaor compare? Also, the one that I have is not vanilla flavored. I use this in tea and coffee, so I don't want the flavoring added. Do you notice the flavor of vanilla in the natures flavors brand? "tintinet" wrote in message om... "Cubit" wrote in message ... Someone is selling Splenda tablets on eBay. At the Nature's Flavors site, they sell an unflavored one, which they say has a hint of vanilla, but not strong. They sell it for $8.49/quart. This seemed like a fantastic price, but the description said that it takes 4.5 cups of the syrup base to equal one cup of sugar. I don't know if that's true or if they just got it backward, though.
