Default Atkins - Digestible Carbs vs Net Carbs

I'm just about to start the Atkins plan and I know that during induction I'm
allowed 20g of Net Carbs daily. However in the recipes at the back of the
book they talk about total carbs and digestible carbs. Do I take it that
digestible carbs = net carbs?

Thanks!

Pretty much, yes. Fiber is not digestable by humans.

Julie,

Just be aware that many people can digest sugar alcohols and that they will
metabolise as carbs for those people, despite label claims that they don't.

Fiber can be safely deducted--except on European labels where they are
already deducted from the total carb count. Walnuts, for some reason, often
have the fiber prededucted on the labels--so count them as 3 grams net per
serving not zero!
