Slim-Fast Bar a Terrible Deception
A Slim-Fast breakfast bar is 8 points on the calorie-fat-fiber scale. But a
breakfast of a whole-wheat bagel (4 points) with two veggie sausages (1 point) and two small clementines (.5 points) is only 5.5 points. A breakfast of oat bran cereal (2 points) and raisins (2 points) and two small clementines is only 4.5 points! Just goes to show that one should be well informed about something as important as diet. Thought a 'diet' bar would be best, but in fact it's not even close to the best that someone on a weight loss/control could do for breakfast. This info came from http://www.foodsaver.com/products.cfm Note that one could (not so easily) spend an entire day travelling to a couple public libraries and pouring thru volumes of books trying to find out the info that I've posted here. Then maybe one could come up with the same facts; but probably come up way short. In comparison, the Internet is *GREAT* for gaining such practical knowledge. |

Oops. Sorry folks. That URL that I included in the post was obviously wrong.
Here's the URL that had the calorie-fat-fiber point ratings: http://www.weigh****chers.com/index.aspx "Knack" wrote in message nk.net...
