Default Starting to See Effects from Rolfing

Hey,

When I was thinking about beginning a series of rolfing sessions, I didn't
think it would have any impact on my weightloss goals.

As it happens, though, my homework after the first session was to start
going to the gym in my building (yeah, I know I'd said I was going to once
I moved in, but moving takes time, and then I was busy, and I get home
late from work. . . /wffid g).

Anyway, I did go, and it turns out that although it's a small setup there
are plenty of machines that were similar to Universal and Nautilus setups
I've used before. So, I've been going fairly regularly - trying to get
there at least every other day - and I'm already out of the wussy settings
on some of the machines.

A definite positive step forward.

I won't give a step by step on the Rolfing, but I was rather relieved that
the Rolfer I'm going to doesn't believe in taking before and after
pictures of clients in their underwear. While it would be nice to see the
progress at the end, it saves me the trouble of having to break into his
office to destroy the photographs and negatives. g

My mom's not into low-carb and has always been naturally thin but has always
had a bit of saddlebags that she's always hated. She got into Rolfing for
her back and they just always do her legs too. Her saddlebags are virtually
gone and she's done no dieting or exercise.

hehe I know what you mean. My SO took digital photos of me in my
underwear before I started, but no way am I going to post them on a
website! As it is, I'm afraid my daughter is going to find them on my
computer! Em-bar-rass-ing!

Rolfing is practitioner dependent. I would have difficulty getting one
thus PILATES is good enough to tone up the flabs.

Naluri.

-----------
looks like an advertising setup. Web page does not give good specifics, or
an EASY definition, but goes into good detail on how you can become a
"certified rolfer" (for a large sum)

A Quick summary? Massage therapy.

IMHO
(very humble)

Oh, wow. If my saddlebags even just stopped being so overstuffed, I'd be
thrilled.

Here's hoping.
