Daily Weighing a Good Thing
I guess I missed this article from a couple of weeks ago, but there was
a follow up in today's Cornell Chronicle that got my attention. The follow-up isn't posted yet, but here's the link to the researcher's findings on daily weighing. http://www.news.cornell.edu/stories/....gain.ssl.html Amy 168/117/... |

Daily Weighing a Good Thing
Its no surprise to me - people who keep weight off long term are really
strict self monitors, so they can deal with 2 pounds before it gets to be 5 or 10 or 15. Its one of the characteristics of people on the National Weight Loss Registry. The four key things successful maintainers seem to have are low fat diets, eating breakfast, regular exercise and frequent weigh ins. Mary G. Was 195, now in the 130's, and yes, working hard on maintaining. |
