Tonight's supper
I made cordon bleu turkey using turkey cutlets, canadian bacon, and fat free
swiss. Instead of breading them I just browned them lightly in a pan with cooking spray and then used some broth to poach them to doneness. All core all the way Side dishes were dijon roasted new potatoes (WW Core recipe) and steamed fresh broccoli. DH said if I keep cooking like this he might not want me to go back to work -- the volleyballchick |

Tonight's supper
Sounds yummy VBchick!..........Canadian Bacon - this is so interesting to me
because here in Canada, besides eating regular bacon (like the rest of the world), we also have this "Canadian Bacon" that to me is nothing more than just thin pork slices!!!! hehehe........REAL CANADIAN BACON is called peameal bacon and it tastes great! Some people refer to it as BACK BACON and it is pronounced as pea-male bacon! Trust me, I'm telling you guys that it's absolutely awesome and you'd never hear a Canadian order Canadian Bacon!!!!hahaha You would however hear them say pea-male bacon or more commonly Back bacon! Check out this link...............if you ever try some you'll never go back to regular bacon! http://peamealbackbacon.com/ Damn, now I'm hungry! LOL! Tonight's supper
My daughter is cooking recipes from the new complete WW cookbook.
She is making zucchini risotto with sun-dried tomatoes and classic roasted vegetables. The risotto is 7 points and the vegetables, which we'll have on top of spring mix, is 2 points because it is a large serving. We are growing the eggplant and squash so that is why she decided on these for tonight's dinner. She is making 1.5 times the risotto recipe since we are serving our family of five. We are not vegetarians but it is a vegetarian meal. Audrey |

I did chicken, cooked with veg in a bed of noodles. 6 points a portion. -- Kate XXXXXX R.C.T.Q Madame Chef des Trolls Lady Catherine, Wardrobe Mistress of the Chocolate Buttons http://www.katedicey.co.uk Click on Kate's Pages and explore! |
