Default Mad world!

Well today was not a good day.

The fears about work have been ongoing for some time. Today we were
all taken into a room for a meeting. While it's not the worst possible
scenario it's not looking rosy.

I'm feeling rather numb and a bit sick, so I came home. I guess under
the circumstances it's not really surprising. Hoping to stay OP, but
worried I won't. I know eating isn't going to help, so why not stay on
track, but it's not that easy.

I'm going to lift some weights to stop thinking about it for a while.

Hang in there, Ray. As one that has been through the downsizing wringer,
things will improve. Just keep your cool.

Job worries are among the worst kind. There's so little a person can
do...And whether it's better to be the one downsized or the one who stays is
really a toss-up. Try to soothe the sick feeling in the stomach with
something OTHER than food. I like your idea of lifting weights. It's
something hard to do, requires both mental and physical exertion, and maybe
it'll keep the hand from feeding the mouth. Good luck.

Thanks for all your support folks.
It's not the end of the world, and I'm more positive today than I was
yesterday. There are several options available, the trick is picking
the best.

I didn't go off program (except for the snickers), and today has been
pretty good.

Thanks

Ray
