Default two week up date.

I am doing this up date now, because it will be the two week mark on
Monday. I have given up so much in the last two weeks.

donuts
muffins
timbits
croissants
tea biscuts
white bread
sugar
high carb foods have cut back on
diet coke and diet pepsi
potatoe chips
french fries
fast foods
all junk food
white flour
cut back on whole wheat bread
salt

I am sure that there are others that I am leaving out. I weighed in early
today cause I had a feeling that I had lost more weight. And as of today I
am down 5lbs. I started over with weight watchers on June 7/04 and I am
glade that I did. I am starting to eat better. And have cut back on the
amount that I eat drastically. Mainly because of the diet, but also mainly
because it is extremly hot, and I don't really like to eat a hole lot when
it's hot.
I have also been exercising again , and I am doing more then I have ever
done before. I am biking and we don't just bike to the corner store and back
we go for 30 kilometers at a time and 3 - 4 hours at a time. I have been
walking anywhere from 1 mile - 2 miles everyday for the last two weeks.
I started going to the gym again twice a week and am doing ab work 3 -4
times a week. There are days where I wish I could go back to my old way of
eating. But Then when I rememeber how I felt when I used to eat that way, I
don't want to.
So I will keep this up. I am going home to visit my family the week of
July 21/04 I want to be back at my original goal weight of 125lbs by the 23
of july. That is also my uncles 61 b day. So wish me luck.
Oyah before I forget to mention if I already haven't I have lost 5lbs as
of today.
Thanks for listen and for the advice.

Good work, Angie!

Just make sure you're not setting yourself up for a "craving
crash." In other words, if you don't leave yourself a little
indulgence now and then, you start feeling deprived and then
before you know what happened, you're knee deep in Twinkies!

My little indulgence is the cookie (3 inch) when I get my
morning coffee. (They give them away at the supermarket, I
can't keep them in the house.)

One tip about the party: eat before you go so that you're
full.

You're doing great!

The reason I have given up so much of the junk food is because of doctors
orders. I have adult acene and until I get it cleared up there will be no
little indulgences. I am past my cravings stage and I do have a trick which
helps me if I do crave and that is to drink chocalate milk when ever I want
something I can't have and trust me it does work.
Thanks for taking time to read my post and for the suggestions I will
definelty keep them in mind.

Chocolate milk is exactly the kind little indulgence I meant.
It satisfies the craving, but does no real damage. Keep on!

oh my goodness. I just looked up Tim Horton's online and it looks a lot
like our Dunkin' Donuts with lunch added. I'm not sure I could work
there! I'd have to be on a permanent coffee high. You have my
admiration, Angie!

(still remembering the day I found out a glazed cruller had 490 calories
:-( )

thanks. Yah most of our food is not worth waisting calories or points. But
I still have the soups and a bagel every now and then. And I make myself a
salade using what we would use for our sandwiches. And it helps. I live work
now feeling satisfied an not stuffed or feel gross cause I ate so much junk

I used to "substitute" the maple walnut scones, thinking they
were healthier than donuts. Then the 23 fat grams switched me to
bagels.

yes but even bagels aren't that great high in calories and carbs and most of
them are high in fat too.
