Oh, that stupid peak that started out with a mail box (I had mail up
there for ages, apparently, but never made it). And now has a full extension ladder and a real and HEAVY fire hydrant? No one quite knows how the hydrant got up there (unless your article says) since it is cast iron and very weighty. A friend has always said it is too steep and might lead to injuries whereas other friends have challenged me to do it. Being stubborn, I do what I want - and am saving my knees. Wonder if the article is on the web? A friend sent me photos of the junk collection up there (G) On Mon, 1 Dec 2003 19:16:36 -0800, "Deb in Northern California" wrote: Hey Fred, I was reading and article in the travel section of my newspaper yesterday and was wondering if you have ever been to Mailbox Peak in Washington, apparently it is in the mountains outside of the Seattle area. Ah hah - your silence will therefore be taken as incriminating (even though
the court will be instructed not to do such a thing). best part of the artificial eye thing is when you have to go to ER for some
reason and the ER dr. insists on trying to get a pupil reaction. hmmm the Fifth decade, or could you actually BE old, like 70 or something.
Somehow I doubt it, you are too lively, although I did have a friend who was a tennis terror at 85. "Fred" wrote in message ... I guess it is time to resort to court stuff again - I plead the Fifth. Well, this morning was not as good as hoped.
But you really have a great chance in about two weeks - we have our work "employee recognition breakfast" early the morning of WI. I will be dressed in jacket, tie, slacks, etc and will have breakfast and then head to WI! Not a great situtation unless I can sit with 300 others eating breakfast and NOT eat breakfast! But maybe it is time to just let you have it as I would really hate to be the one to drive you to desparation. Besides, some others are now giving you a run for the money.
