Default Day 11 of 100 Days

Day 11 of 100 days, and when I got on the scale a few minutes ago, it
hadn't moved below 234. (To the contrary, it showed itself slightly
higher but I don't move my indicator to show exactly how much higher
it was.) And so I'm still at 234.

Had about 2000 calories yesterday, much more than I intended. I was
doing very well calorically until we had my daughter over for her
birthday dinner here. Rather hard to abstain from eating when one's
daughter is having a dinner with her parents. (She's very active and
we don't see her all that often.) But we had a great time and the
calories weren't nearly as great for me as they would have been
several months ago. Today, though, I'm going out to buy several large
bottles of diet Mountain Dew Red and will limit myself to that (and to
coffee with skim milk) today.

Because of a school event this evening (which will last until about
9), I'm about to leave to go up my little hill in about half an hour
(about 6:45 a.m.) and my wife will pick me up at the top. I do want to
get walking in every day. Helps establish consistency of purpose,
etc., as well as helps to burn up calories.

"Yard by yard, it's hard. Inch by inch it's a cinch," says one of the
people who work in the same building I do. I just am going to keep
making progress inch by inch in the days and months ahead.

I hope everyone has a great day! I hope everyone makes their
weight-loss goals!

Yours,

Caleb

Hi Folks. I seem to have blown my mail/news application (Entourage) so I've
loaded a newer version of Entourage. Now will see if my address book, prefs
and rules have survived somewhere.

Caleb, you and I seem to be on some sort of plateaus. I'm still at 209 after
so many days of 500 calorie living. Sooner or later I've got to drop another
pound!

Carry on,
Lazy

Lazy --

I know you'll get there! (Unless you have a perpetual motion machine
imbedded in your tummy or something.)

Great job with what you've done!

Seems to me that our job is not really to control the scale
fluctuations -- we can't do that, of course. Our job is to do the
right things and the scale will sure reflect that in the long run, as
your scale is doing.

GREAT JOB!!! KEEP IT UP!!!

Yours,

Caleb
