Default Food & Exercise -- 8/30/2005

Went downtown (into DC) for work today, then went to the gym.

Food:

* 7:00 (home): 30g L/F granola, 30g All Bran Bran Buds, 22g whey
protein, 1 cup skim milk
* 11:00 (work, brought with me): apple
* 12:00 (work, brought with me): sandwich w/ 2 slices whole grain
bread, 79g beef tenderloin, 1 tbsp f/f mayo
* 3:00 (work, brought with me): 1/2 protein bar
* 6:45 (driving home from gym): 1/2 protein bar
* 8:00 (home): turkey burger on whole wheat English muffin w/ 3 slices
f/f cheese, dill pickle slices, & catsup
* 10:30 (home, planned): "fun size" peanut butter cup

Totals: 1476 calories, 33g fat (20%), 185g carbs (50%), 125g protein
(34%)

Exercise:

4:45 -- Olympic lifting + cardio

* Shoulder warmups
* Overhead squats w/ hollow bar: 2x5
* Power snatch: 1x3 w/ hollow bar; 4x3x15kg/33lbs
* Clean pulls: 1x3x25/55; 4x3x32.5/71.5
* Back squats: 1x5x20/44; 3x3x32.5/71.5
* Back hyperextensions: 2x15
* Hammer crunches on Swiss ball holding 15 lb. DB: 1x30
* Side twists on Swiss ball w/ 15 lb. DB: 1x15
(Also a bunch of other random squats and cleans and stuff, as some
guys came over and asked me to show them what I was doing, so I was
demonstrating for them and they were trying the stuff.)

* Treadmill: 2 miles -- 2 x (.1 mile each at 6.0, 5.9, 5.8,...5.1)
