Life Changes
Starting Monday I start a new position. I am very excited about it
since I will being what I like best... Back in the Internet environment again building web pages, marketing, analytics. Mongo beating chest I will be working with skinny people see http://www.jamminleather.com - Can you say whips and chains? Seriously though, there are a lot of doubts that I seem to get when I change jobs. Added to resetting boundaries over food etc. Ralph |

Hope you enjoy the new change Ralph - I wish you all the best. But don't
let food intake get in the way of your happiness...........stay on course - you've come so far - you can do this so long as you maintain it as a priority in your life. Life Changes
I remember switching jobs while I was still maintaining with WW (before my
pregnancies). I remember being invited to the restaurant more often than I used to be, since we worked close to very nice restaurants in a very nice area of the city. It was sometimes hard to refuse the hot fresh bread in French restaurants, or the free dumplings at the Chinese ones, or again the little chocolate at the end of a Belgium meal... Not only was that hard, but even more so because my boss, who was Miss Skinny herself, couldn't understand why I didn't indulge. She really thought I was a boring person - no alcohol, no dessert, no bread! Eventually, I had enough of refusing offers of foods all the time, so I started telling everyone I was a Weight Watcher. Given my waistline at that time, everyone was really surprised (you should have seen me, I looked hot!), and curious. I explained to them my struggles with my weight, and, aside from my boss who really was a b*t*h in the end, everyone understood, stopped bugging me about what I ate and didn't eat, and, quite frankly, they showed some admiration they hadn't expressed before. All of this to say it doesn't matter if you're a long way or a short way to your goal, as it won't once you're maintaining ('cause I know you'll get there). I believe saying what you're doing, explaining the reasons (your health, your well-being, your self esteem) behind it will have people appreciate, respect and maybe even admire you. Only real mean people will try to have you indulge in foods and quantities you don't want. Good luck on the new job! I'm sure you'll be fine. -- Isabelle 154.8/142/130 "Uncle Bonzi" wrote in message oups.com... Starting Monday I start a new position. I am very excited about it since I will being what I like best...
