I just looked at your photos and I just have to tell you that you look
AMAZING!! You don't even look like the same person....I bet you feel
completely different too! I am new to the boards and have a new mission to
get healthy once and for all. I'm taking this very seriously and seeing
your before and after pictures is VERY encouraging! I'm definitely going to
have to keep a "big" dress so that I can truly see the progress I'm making.
I think taking pictures if very helpful too because (in the past) as I've
gotten smaller, I tend to "forget" just how big I was when I started - but
photos don't lie!

Congratulations on your loss and again, you look great!

Mary

It's interesting what you say about forgetting just how big you'd been.
I think I do this too, but what's funny is that other people do as
well. When I've shown my before pictures (posted in a separate thread
a few minutes ago) to close friends -- and even when my husband looks
at them -- they all say, "I don't remember you as ever being that
big!". So you can almost change your past image as well as your future
:-).

Thank you! :-) And yes, you should *definitely* take 'before' pictures,
and keep a big dress or pair of pants. Because you're right, I *do* feel
different, but because it goes slowly, it is hard to see the difference
from day to day. I am *very* glad I have that first photo!

But don't keep ALL your old clothes. Just keep the reference dress, and
when you buy new (or second hand), smaller clothes, give away your old
things. They're just a waste of space, because this time, you're NOT
getting back into them. :-)
