Yeah, that's why I put it in quotes.

Not if you define what you mean by real....

Actually, natural would be a better word to use as none of the food at
issue is imaginary.

I think it exists on a continuous spectrum. One person's frankenfood crap
is another's pure food. Coffee and Chocolate (even if it is 85%) can be
considered processed foods. Just like vegetarianism or other dietary WOE an
individual's perceptions of their own dietary habits vs. others that they
know vs. their own idealised definition of the one "true way".

what *i* mean by real and what *you* mean by real and what *liza
minelli* means by real are not all going to be the same thing.

hence "entirely subjective."

*You* might define what *you* mean by real. But others might have a
different definition even if it only slightly varies it could mean
significant differences in food choices. That is assuming that the
individual even lives up to their own standards which is rare.

Then there is the manner of frequency. Something like this: I'm a purist.
Don't you eat Chocolate? Yes but I only have it (daily, weekly, monthly,
never, it was my birthday, it was sally's birthday, it was my friends
cousin's aunt's wedding and I couldn't say no, never touched my lips for 50
years, and yes never really does mean never).

I think a lot of people espouse purity when it comes to lc but many have
significant differences in what they mean by it and what would constitute an
exception.

This is why I alwasy tell myself that it matters more what I eat regularly
than what I eat occasionally.
