New here and need help
and if you have increased your water intake it could just be a temporary
water gain, Lee Kimmy wrote in message ups.com... You are so right. It didn't take a day to put it on, so it won't come off in a day. I was just so hoping to see some sort of a loss. It was just hard seeing that gain. I will keep on at it, and hopefully it will start coming off. Since I can't afford to go to the meetings and get all the good information, I feel like I am a bit lost when it comes to WW. Hopefully getting tips here will help me. I plan on sticking around. Kimmy On May 2, 12:21 pm, "spaceyjane" wrote: "Kimmy" wrote in message oups.com... Hi my name is Kimmy. I started WW two days ago. What am I doing wrong? I have been eating right for the last two days. Yesterday morning when I woke up and weighed myself, I didn't gain or lose anything. This morning when I woke up, I gained 2 pounds! This doesn't make any sense, and I can't figure out where I am going wrong. Any ideas? Hi Kimmy! Just keep at it and like the previous poster suggested, give it a week. Count your points, TRACK EVERYTHING, follow the good health guidelines, and find low point snacks for those inbetween times. There are a ton! It works, totally, if you do your part to truly count and track. If you are counting, and tracking it all, and measuring what is needed, etc. it will work. : ) Just because you don't see an intial loss within the first two days of starting, don't give up or give in. You are on the right track, and someone reminded me one time that all the weight didn't come on in one week, so don't expect to take it off that fast either, haha. I cannot tell you how many times I have reminded myself that this is a slow but steady race. Persistance pays off, and you will succeed if you follow the plan! Good luck and post here often! : ) |

Thanks Lee. I know that I have a tendency to get way to obsessed with
the scale. I didn't weigh myself at all until this morning, and had a nice surprise. Not only did I lose the 2lbs I gained, but I lost 2 additional pounds as well. One thing that I am struggling with is being hungry between meals. I need to find some low point snacks to keep with me especially at work, because that is when I am really struggling. Any ideas for snacks are would be welcomed. Thanks again for the support. Welcome! I totally understand your frustration. I have taken Hoodia
in the past, and did work for me, as long as I remembered to take it. I am thinking about taking it again. Kimmy On May 5, 2:14 pm, leeshal wrote: On May 2, 4:49 am, Kimmy wrote: Hi my name is Kimmy. Kimmy Congratulations on your weight loss. I like to use a wedge of Laughing Cow cheese with crackers or melba toast, carrot sticks and other veggies, herbal tea and a diet soda. I always have a small bowl of fruit in the afternoon. Are you eating protein at your meals? That will also stop the hunger pains. Have some turkey or other low fat meat on hand or a hard boiled egg. This program works so well without hoodia or any other supplements. Audrey |
