That intriguing list does prove that diversity is key. I'm trying to
remember the name of the band that did "5 o'clock World"...the Vogues, maybe? 1965? The Dick Clark 5. BRBR I believe it was Jay and the Americans. This is the version I remember: A HREF="http://www.b-unique.net/music/memorylane/oldiesartistandgroups/jamer icans/"Click He Check out "Jay & The Americans Songs In WAV"/A http://www.b-unique.net/music/memory...ps/jamericans/ |

How about "Rocky Top." A number of artists have recorded the song over the years. The Ricky Skaggs version ought to send you
skipping down the street in fine fashion. Barbara Tony Lew wrote: "Lady o' the house" wrote in message ... If you like to listen to music when you exercise, what do you listen to? I'm trying to compile some music to play on my Walkman while I walk my laps at the park and I'm running out of ideas. |

If you like to listen to music when you exercise, what do you listen to? I'm trying to compile some music to play on my Walkman while I walk my laps at the park and I'm running out of ideas. My MP3 player is heavily loaded with Rammstein, Disturbed, Korn, Rob Zombie, and some of the more bombastic techno out there. But then, my tastes are more geared towards lifting weights than long low-intensity cardio, so YMMV. |

I really like Moonsorrow's Rivenkantaja, or Loreena McKennit's Book of Shadows or Live in Paris and Toronto, or the soundtrack for Return of the King at the moment. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------- Michael Nielsen M.Sc.EE Music: http://mp3.com/archon2 Website: http://www.archonia.dk |

Thanks, Linda My favorite exercise CD is "Motorcade of Generosity" by Cake, but I don't think I could just walk to it because it always makes me dance. Everyone's music taste is different though, what do you like? -- -Michelle Levin (Luna) http://www.mindspring.com/~lunachick http://www.mindspring.com/~designbyluna I'll check it out, Luna. I really have an eclectic taste in music; I'll listen to and enjoy everything from oldies rock to bluegrass to jazz to new age and techno. Just not any rap music. Linda |
