Plain Tofu
Are there any strong arguments against eating plain tofu, in the brick form,
when low carbing? Thanks. |

Plain Tofu
oh yeah,
Best thing when I was in Japan was a block of silken tofu, cut through to make large cubes, but the block is still together. Just run your knife through it a few times. Grate some fresh ginger on top, 2tsp or so then drizzile with a few tbs of soy sauce on top. Serve cold. That is gooooooooooooood!!!! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm droooooool -- LC since Feb '04 205/194 . .goal 175 by May '04 "John" wrote in message news:CEvYb.332429$I06.3440017@attbi_s01... Priscilla The manager of the low carb store I shop at gave me some good advice on Tofu. She told me if I was missing crackers I could slice brick tofu very thin and fry it up in a non stick skillet with a little olive oil until it crisps up and it makes a good substitute. I sprinkle mine with a little seasalt as they cook and drain them on paper towels. |
