Default What's for breakfast?

I use fiber ones as a filler mixed with other cereals, or as a "crunch" in
my fruits and yogurt bowl..
1/2 cup is enough with the amount of fiber in them..

My typical breakfast during the summer is Fiber One cereal with skim
milk, 1/2 sliced banana and blueberries. If for some reason I'm still
hungry I'll eat the other half of the banana or another piece of fruit.
I also discovered that putting a splash of davinci sf flavored syrup
gives it an interesting kick.

I think I tried Fiber one. Most cereal the serving size is 3/4 of a cup.
Fiber one was 1/2 cup.

I try and eat a piece of fruit and then either an egg beater or slice of
some very lean meat, Lee

In the spring I really needed protein so I would scramble an egg with 2
thin slices of diced Canadian bacon and then have fresh fruit and tea.

In the summer I don't work away from home so I can have less and still
feel satisfied.
This morning I had 1/2 cup diced cantaloupe with 1/2 cup fresh
boysenberries, a 1 point Western sweet wheat bagle with 2 t of Trader
Joe's fruit spread and my usual lemon lift tea with sweet n low. It's
2.5 points. I have 1 point Dannon yogurt in case I want something else
before lunch.

Water challenge? Are you drinking it? I fill the glass with crushed
ice and water and drink it with a straw several times a day.

one of my rules for myself is never do anything while losing that you cannot
continue after you are at goal, it is very realistic to me that you keep
eating this on the weekends if you intend to eat it after you are at goal,
Lee, pleased for you

Water really helps with weightloss! Following the 8 healthy guidelines
(especially having your 2 servings of milk each day) also promoted good
weightloss.........

What did I have for breaky?..........

1 cup of Kellogg's All Bran Flakes + 3/4" cup 2% milk = 3 points, 5 fiber!
2 pieces of light bread toast = 1 point
sugar free strawberry jam = 1 point
One a Day multivitamin.

It was a good fix for low points and filling too!
I usually only don't have the toast and jam

Every Saturday and Sunday though, I splurge on my points - 2 eggs over

easy,
3 pieces of peameal bacon and 2 pieces of toast with butter! Lots of
points, but I've been doing BEFORE joining WW and have continued doing it
since joining WW. I'm living proof that you don't have to deny your self
the things that you really enjoy.................you just have to plan

ahead
for them!

Glad you posted this. I'm lacking in the water department. I'll give
it a try your way. Thanks.

I think the fact that I am trying to keep things real and not change too
drastically is what's helping along this entire journey. Planning ahead,
controlling portion sizes and generall eating in a healthier way is
obviously helping me and mentally I don't feel as though I've really given
anything up other than maybe chicken wings or silly things like
McDonalds........ but at least I know that I can "choose" to have those
things, if I really want to .........I just don't choose them any more.
Being in control feels wonderful.

I love Cherrios! - but there's little fiber in them, so that's why I
switched to Kellogg's 100% ALL FRAN FLAKES - the fiber really fills me up
and it's like eating Raisin Bran without the raisins

the only 2 things I have pretty well given up are poptarts and wings, both
taste wonderful to me but the points are so blasted high I just can't
justify it, Lee

Oh yeah, I don't do that 2 wing meal any more either. Although if my family wants chicken I have been known to eat 2 wings and a giant salad.

I checked the box. 3 grams of fiber in a cup of cheerios. Not too bad in
my opinion.

Of course you could add a teaspoon of FiberSure clear mixing fiber
supplement to the milk, for another 5 grams of fiber without increasing the
points. I found this stuff the other day, I added it to a batch of cookies
that I baked the other day and no one knew the difference that it was in
there. It is supposed to be mixed with liquids and is not bulky, it is
flavor free, grit free and non-thickening.

If you go to their website you can ask for a free sample.
