Default Popping in to say Hi

Haven't been around for quite a while -- lurked mostly but unposting. I'm
still active in low-carbing. Glad to see so many are so committed, even tho
the media predicts the 'bust' of the low carb boom.

I ate poorly (which for me means not eating all day then having popcorn or
something else just as lazy in the evening) during my recent vacation, but
luckily didn't put anything on except the water weight. Now that I'm back
at work into my 'normal' routine, things are humming along nicely. I still
should exercise more (That's a laugh - I need to exercise PERIOD), but I
don't need to eat less as I'm tracking calories as well as carbs now.

I'm taking the weight loss fairly slowly -- I put it on over ten years, so I
don't expect to lose it overnight. I've been low carbing since last fall
and have gone from 238+ at 5'4" size 22/24 to a low of 194 size 14/16 (some
size 12 from Old Navy, but size discrepancies are a whole other thread).

I just want the regulars to know -- there are a LOT of lurkers out there who
take advice, inspiration and even critisism from reading the posts, so
please, keep it up and thanks!

Oh - I have some new pics.

Thanks for popping in and sharing your new pics. It's amazing how much
difference the 44lbs make! You look way better. Popping in and out of here is
fine, just make sure you don't pop any more popcorn. ;-)

Some of the more environmentally aware dinosaurs were worried about the
consequences of an accident with the new Iridium enriched fusion
reactor. "If it goes off only the cockroaches and mammals will
survive..." they said.

Love your pix! In your new photo, you look like the little sister of the
person in your original photo. You're doing and looking really well! I
remember you from when you were posting more often. Good to see you're
staying on course.

HG
