Have a happy vacation. I saw a WW meeting member while I was at the
coast and we both said we had a hard time staying OP.

Did you escape the heatwave in the valley while you were gone. I noticed
you were missing when we were scorching here in the valley between 110-115F.
Thank goodness we are back to normal summer weather of 90s.

You can easily lose on vacation... don't worry. If you're eating more
than normal, compensate by doing a longish walk or jog. For meals,
keep portion control in mind and choose healthy options.

I went on vacation last month and actually lost alot. (don't even need
to lose... probably should even gain some!) We ate out at restaurants
often. I replaced the fries w/ a side salad every time. Plus every
morning i woke early and exercised. I normally never wake up early to
exercise, but i made an effort to do so... so i wouldn't interrupt my
family time during the day.

Default Going on vacation

The great thing is that my husband seems to be enthusiastic about staying on
plan. So that will help.

We've got a big walk planned every morning.. that will help.. we also
planned to go lift weights 4 times in the 10 days (or minimum 3).. so
that'll be good too. We will be walking a lot on the beaches and stuff too,
we always do..

So activity-wise we're covered the food is what is worrying me. We're in
California, there's healthy choices all around, back home is a completely
different story. There'll be a lot of seafood, which is pretty healthy (if
you skip the gallongs of garlic butter!), and my parents have a full garden
of vegetables. Everytime I go though, my aunts and cousin bake all sorts of
goods "just for me". They know I don't bake, and figure that I must be
sooooooooo deprived... *rolls eyes*

Food pusher central, that's what this is all about.. We've got a plan
though.. so I think we'll make it work. Last year was a disaster, my FIL had
passed away, DH wasn't with me, I was stressed out, tired.. and just binged
the whole time I was there.. (

The other thing that was worrying me is that my DH has been VERY stressed
out lately, so I was affraid that it would be a tense vacation. We talked
things out last night though and I think it'll be just fine!

Now I'm looking forward to it! I'm ready!!

hold up, this is just a bit overfixated even for a leader, you know better,
if you lose fine, if you stay the same great, but if you enjoy yourself and
reduce your general stress, the point of vacation, even better, I hope you
do enjoy your vacation, Lee
