My T-shirt was stained Blood Red
When I was a kid I lived in South Africa. There was a bananna tree out
the back of our house, and one day me and my friend, Drew, were playing in it. I remember I had my arm inside a long cardboard tube and was pretending it was a tank, or something. I think I tried to climb around Drew when my foot slipped. I fell down and smashed my head on a piece of slate. After that things went a bit hazy. I remember looking down at my sports shirt which was soaked in blood. I managed to find my parents, they were sitting together on a bench. It was at that moment, despite my state of mind, I knew how much they loved me. I often think about this experience. I wonder if it was a changing point in my life. Would my life have turned out the same if this event never happened? Would it be better? would it be worse? Im not sure. Meditation teaches us some things. It plants ideas and give us answers. I beleive that we should all meditate, in some way or another. When I first became interested in meditation, I had no idea where to start. I remember giving it a go for about ten minutes and failing. Well at least thats what I thought at the time. Just recently I discovered something quite amazing. I read that technology has come so far, that we are now capable of full control over our own brain frequencies. For deep meditation to occur, it used to take years and years of discipline, determination and practice. In time the practitioner would have enough control over their mind, that they would be able to change their brain frequencies into the desired alpha zone. I came across a free audio that when when listend to, by passes, the years and years of, well, almost torture through intense discipline. It seems to be a massive breakthrough in meditative studies. Then again maybe its just the lazy way to meditate and should be avoided. Im not sure. Im going to continue to use it and over time I believe the answer will come to me. In the mean time if you guys are interested heres the site its on: http://www.meditationinformation.info |
