Corporate Responsiblity for Obesity

No, it wasn't any sort of excuse, the guy was just a criminal type. Still... she might be alive if she wasn't so damned abusive. So you're still justifying his behavior. Being verbally abusive does not justify murder. -- Transpose mxsmanic and gmail to reach me by e-mail. |

I like eating lunch, so its worth looking around for a low-cal breakfast. This can be shortened to: "I like eating." And that is the root of the problem. -- Transpose mxsmanic and gmail to reach me by e-mail. |

Well... yeah... duh... what are you doing for your next trick? I like eating. I've liked eating ever since I can remember. I don't know anyone who doesn't like to eat. Were you born on this planet, or what? |

"Dave Head" wrote in message ... And some people just get ****ed when people start calling them names. This particular person is about the worst I've seen for a while, in terms of falling into such a mode in such a short time. Have you seen the language she/it has been using since I killfiled her/it? I see this stuff when I use google to look at the thread - boy, real Tonya Harding trailer-trash talk. Prolly, she's got biker tattoos, too... And maybe it's a cultural thing. But then that wouldn't make you the perpetual victim you seem to be, first of the evil corporations and then of some women on usenet. Hard as it is to believe for you holier-than-thou types that are apparently perfect, but some of us live in a culture where swearing is commonplace and some of us grew up that way. There is general swearing and then there is insulting. I killfiled the insulter, and just pointed out that she/it is liable to get hurt that way if they talk to someone like that in the same room. There you go again. You seem to be the only one who thinks people go around punching out other folks' teeth for things that are said. You definitely hang around with the wrong people. You are wrong. Your view of the world is that of an adolescent. Grow up. As for the victim thing, the American People, who are getting fatter and fatter, might just be the victims. Not, me - I don't buy the huge portions of things. The American People are not the victims. You are the perpetual victim. First you were victimized by your liquid diet (that you shouldn't have been on in the first place and then did it wrong), then by the corporations who you think should all become altruistic and screw the bottom line thus demonstrating your ignorance of economics, business and general how the world works, and finally by people in Usenet who can see you for exactly what you are and call you out on it. You act like a 12 year old - whining about how the world doesn't cater to your wishes and making enough excuses for your lack of self-control, **** poor planning, and bad choices without accepting the fact that the responsibility lies solely with YOU as an alleged adult. Yeah, its unlikely, and so is the likelihood that she/it would even act like that in the same room with someone that could and might punch her/its lights out. IOW, she's/it's mean when she/it knows there are no consequences - IOW, she's "enjoying" usenet, like I originally said - being mean and knowing there will never be any consequences. You're the one that keeps bringing up this punching thing. I don't know what kind of immature trash you hang out with, but I've always been outspoken and not afraid to speak my mind and have yet to be physically attacked for it since I was about 14 when I broke some girl's nose after she jumped me. Well, good for you. But speaking your mind is different from calling someone names. Well, the guy I called an asshole yesterday didn't hit me. He actually apologized for being one. I didn't lose a single tooth over the incident. I don't hang out with _anyone_ who would do such a thing, but... that doesn't mean that there aren't such people in the world. If you look around, you can spot 'em, usually. They're not all that rare. Again, if you hang out in the kinds of lowbrow places that meth-heads and drunks frequent, sure. As an adult with actual standards, I tend to be able to have good enough judgement to avoid that kind of stuff and knowing Dally like I do, she hangs with a much better crowd too. -- the volleyballchick |

It's obvious based on the litany of posts that he's got the mentality of a 12 year old and doesn't actually understand the complexities of real life. -- the volleyballchick |

Naw, that was no threat... it was just making her/it aware that a mouth like that could get them in trouble (but not from me... I'd just walk away...). I actually know of a female who was like that, who is dead now, shot, and I always have to wonder if the guy that did it just got tired of her mouth. So then that would be a good enough excuse to kill someone? You really do have some very serious issues. No, it wasn't any sort of excuse, the guy was just a criminal type. Still... she might be alive if she wasn't so damned abusive. Being verbally abousive does not justify murder. Period. That you don't get that still says volumes about you. Your weight is the least of your major issues. -- the volleyballchick |
